A Seriously Big Mixing Tank With Integrity…
This is the third mixing tank our client has ordered from us over 2 years, this one is sized at 38,000L.
Designed for single batch fertilizer mixing, it has a high powered 240v mechanical mixer with a low-level dual impeller. The reason for the low-level dual impeller, is because it enables our client to draw out the liquid while the tank is still mixing, keeping his fertiliser batch in solid suspension, without affecting the tank structure integrity as the liquid level lowers.
38,000L is a big mixing tank, because of its large size when we design and build the tank, we have to ensure the tank retains its structural integrity.
We did this by customising the design of the vessel considering all possible environmental stresses it may go through. In modifying the design to best suit our client needs, we constructed a vessel with increased strength, to suit the high agitation mixing required.
There were two reasons our client ordered their third tank from us:
- The first reason is because they needed a seriously big mixing tank for a higher volume of single batch mixing.
- The second reason is because after having ordered two tanks from us previously, he knew that this third tank would have the same, high structural integrity, that the first two tanks have.
