West Coast Poly was established in Canning Vale, Perth in 1999 with the aim of producing high quality, long lasting, polyethylene storage tanks for the Rural, Residential and Mining & Industrial markets in Western Australian.
The company is privately owned by West Australians and uses the advanced rotomoulding manufacturing process to produce tanks in one piece from high quality polyethylene. This means you are dealing with local people and are getting a product that is designed and built for West Australian conditions.
The quality and longevity of the company’s products combined with the efficiency of its delivery system has allowed West Coast Poly to become the preferred supplier to most agricultural agencies, residential resellers, builders and the mining and industrial sector. This reputation has been established by the company’s focus on producing; precision engineered; well designed tanks; backed by a long-term warranty.

West Coast Poly has proudly supported the Country Football WA for the past 11 years as a Sponsor of Player of the Week and Player of the Year award. This sponsorship reaches across the country areas of the State.

The Association provides representation to over 90 Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service Brigades from Kununurra to Esperance to Kalgoorlie – including 5 private Brigades – Leinster, Paraburdoo, Pannawonica, Tom Price and Murrin Murrin.

West Coast are proud to support their local football club – The Canning Vale Cougars. The club was established in 2010 with the mission to be the best community football club by providing leadership, integrity, pathways and opportunities for all in our diverse community.

Stephen Thompson

Coming from a family background in mining in Kalgoorlie Steve began his West Coast Poly journey in 1995, delivering tanks throughout rural WA. From the ground up, he worked his way through all sectors of West Coast Poly. Today, 27 years later as CEO, Steve proudly leads the Company with his vast business knowledge and experience, constantly striving for excellence.

Andrew Baker
General Manager
Born in the South West, Andrew first started working in irrigation for produce growers in the Perth Hills. After successfully managing large scale irrigation projects Andrew began his time at West Coast Poly. Andrew has worked in sales, as well as operations and is now our General Manager overseeing production, despatch, sales & marketing.

Sales Manager
Hailing from a wheat & sheep farm near Ballidu, Chad has been at West Coast Poly for the past 10 years with 5 years prior at Freedom Tanks. In that time Chad has amassed an extensive array of tank experience. He is proactive, diligent and leads our team expertly in his role as Sales Manager.

Damian Hunt
Production Manager
Damian spent his childhood moving around rural WA, exposing him to all the various regions of our state and gaining first hand experience on farms to fruit orchards. With a keen interest in mountain biking Damian oversees our production and has brought his 14 years of management experience in manufacturing to West Coast Poly.

Alby joined the West Coast Poly Team in 1998, and has seen the Company grow from its infancy to market leaders in their field today.
With his wealth of knowledge and experience, he has been involved in product design and development, and participated in the advancement in production systems improving quality and increasing efficiency.

Born in Wongan Hills, Tammy has a Diploma of Graphic Design and over 16yrs in the industry, Tammy has spent the last 6 years with West Coast Poly. Working side by side the Marketing Manager, Tammy is a valued team member and responsible for developing concepts, graphics and layouts as well managing the company’s brand and social media.

Amanda moved West and joined the team in January 2022 as our Receptionist.
With a background in Education, Amanda brought a vibrant energy to the office and customers responded to her friendly and helpful personality. Moving forward, Amanda has now taken on the role as Administration Assistant where she continues to expand her skills.

James’ family has been farming in Coorow – Carnamah for over 100 years, he graduated university and started marketing in the health sector followed by 5 years working in fresh produce with both growers and retailers. His interest in agriculture and manufacturing brought him to West Coast Poly where he now manages our marketing and communication strategies.
