A Tank For Aggressive Agitation…
At West Coast Poly we were presented with the task of producing a high energy fertilizer dissolution mixer for one of our valued broad-acre clients.
For us the solution is simple, we presented our client with one of our standard high energy heavy-duty mixer units, which is designed specifically for this purpose. While chatting with one of our sales team members, the client expressed interest in the tank being 100% fully draining.
To do this we designed a sloped floor along with internal baffles to help increase our clients efficiency when it came to high velocity tank agitation.
The end design resulted in an efficient, high powered aggressive mixer tank capable of generating fast batch turn overs (pumping at greater than 3 x tank turn overs per minute). With the high velocity capabilities of the tank, it gives our client the ability for multiple blends and recipes, including dissolved solids and solids in suspension.
