The Process of making process water tanks…
Damian our production manager is standing next to two 14,000L tanks that are part of a 5 tank order heading to our industrial client’s facility in our state’s south. Damian has been with us for a few months now as our production manager, he oversaw these tanks construction, guiding them through each stage of the production process, ensuring it’s smooth and efficient.
The first stage was the Rotomolding of the vessel; Damian and his production team listened to the needs of our clients then Rotomold a tank to fit their requirements. In this case vessels that are able to hold process water with a specific gravity of 1.2.
Once the tank body is made, the fabrication team installs any fittings the tank requires, flanged fittings and gooseneck atmospheric vents are some of the fittings on these tanks.
So our client could perform manual dosing on the tank contents, Damian coordinated with our in-house welding team, to construct a heavy-duty steel inspection platform. Complete with a grate floor, self-closing gate and rung style ladder, our team also designed and built the platform with a slight curve, so it fits snuggly against the tank wall.
Damian then hands the tanks over to our quality process team, who inspect and test the tank. Damian coordinates with our different production teams, to oversee a smooth production process, which helps ensure a smooth delivery process. Resulting in tank that fits smoothly into our clients’ processes and systems.
