We’re not kidding, this 25,000L fertiliser mixing tank, has a lot in common with the warm cuppa, that sits on your desk. It is because the principles and techniques that make up your perfect brew, are the same here in our clients ideal liquid fertiliser batch.
The fertiliser our client uses is a special compost blend that are packed into a large bag that will then hang from the tank wall.
Yep, just like a big tea bag.
The compost bag dilutes the water with nutrients while also acting as a strainer so when the finish product is loaded up into the boom spray for crop spraying, sediment doesn’t block up the jets.
So our client can attach a larger compost bag to his mug… sorry tank. Our fabrication team fitted a large hatch with a 100mm wide PE lip. The PE lip allows our client to bolt through hooks or clips to hold the bag firmly into place.
A heavy-duty galvanised steel frame supports the 240v single batch mixer secured to the roof of the tank. The mixer works as the teaspoon, mixing the water in the tank, push it through the compost bag, extracting as much of the nutrients as possible. The tank also has a draining floor so all the liquid is able to be utilised.
