WA-Made Water Tanks for Homes, Farms & Backyards

WATER TANK PRODUCTS RANGE

Water Tanks Built For WA – Engineered for the Bush. Designed for the suburbs. Trusted in every backyard.

At West Coast Poly, we build water tanks for every part of Western Australia — from metro courtyards, to large blocks and wide open farmland. Proudly manufactured in Perth WA, our tanks are designed for local conditions, so whether you’re looking to store rainwater for your garden, secure a reliable water supply for livestock, or reduce your mains water use, our tanks are designed to do the job — and built to last.

For rural properties, farms, and larger blocks, our range of water tanks from 4,500L to 50,000L provide reliable water storage. Lightweight and easy to install, each tank is engineered for strength using a seamless, one-piece moulding process that’s perfectly suited to WA’s demanding climate. From collecting runoff off a shed roof to everyday farm use, they’re built for life on the land.

In suburban areas, where space is often a challenge, our slimline and compact tanks — ranging from 320L to 4,500L — are designed to fit neatly down the side of a house, under eaves, or into tight backyards.

For the next step in water efficiency, our automatic rainwater harvesting systems offer Perth households a seamless way to collect and reuse rainwater inside the home. These plug-and-play systems offer a sustainable, low-maintenance solution that helps reduce your reliance on scheme water.

Every tank we produce is manufactured right here in WA at our Canning Vale facility. Each tank is tested, certified, and built to our exacting quality standards — backed by ISO 9001 and WaterMark accreditation.

Whether it’s for the family home or the outback, water matters — and a tank from West Coast Poly is a simple, effective way to harvest rainwater and take control of your supply. With delivery available across Western Australia and expert support just a call away, getting started couldn’t be easier, get in touch with our friendly team to find the right tank for your property.

Water Tank FAQ

Do your tanks come with a warranty?

Yes! Our tanks are built to last and backed by industry-leading warranties:

• Water Tanks (4,500L – 50,000L) come with a 20-year warranty
• Slimline & Small Water Tanks (320L – 4,500L) come with a 10-year warranty

Where are your tanks made?

All our tanks are made to order at our Canning Vale factory in Western Australia. We use advanced rotomoulding technology to create a seamless, single-piece tank with thick, impact-resistant walls. Each water tank is fitted with high-quality components like Philmac ball valves for strength, reliability, and ease of use.

What are the benefits of a poly water tank?

Poly tanks are strong, lightweight, and built for harsh Aussie conditions.

• No rust, no corrosion – install them on any flat surface
• Seamless construction – no joins, rivets, or weak points
• UV-resistant – we use materials that exceed the Australian standard (UV 20)
• Food and water safe – certified to AS/NZS 2070 and AS/NZS 4020
• No taste contamination – poly won’t affect water flavour

Easy to install, easy to move, and built for decades of service.

Where should I place my tank?

Tank placement depends on your available space and roof access. Try to locate your tank near a downpipe to maximise rainwater capture and minimise plumbing. Not sure what will fit? Check out our range or contact us for advice.

What size or style water tank do I need?

From 320L to 50,000L, we have a tank to suit your space, water needs, and property type.

• Use your roof area and average rainfall to estimate how much water you could collect
• Think about how you'll use the water: garden, toilet, laundry, drinking, or pool top-ups
• If in doubt, go bigger—extra capacity gives peace of mind during dry periods
• Slimline tanks are great for tight urban spaces; round tanks are ideal for open areas

What colours and customisation options are available?

Our tanks come in a wide range of Colorbond® - matched colours, so you can blend in or stand out. We also offer accessories like pump kits, filters, and greywater options to help you build a complete rainwater system.

What fittings come with the tank?

• Large Capacity Tanks (4,500L – 50,000L): Screw-top lid, mesh leaf strainer, bug-proof overflow, brass outlet, and a Philmac poly ball valve
