Although the lifting restraints look like a bow, this tank doesn’t need a sash to make it special …
This isn’t just any storage tank, there is more to it than meets the eye. Our fabrication team has worked their magic on this tank, fitting it with intricate internal agitation lines, turning it into a sophisticated neutralisation system. An example of their technical prowess but also their dedication to solving unique challenges for our clients.
Our client required a system to neutralise high pH level raw feed water. The initial step involves filling the tank with this raw feed water, which then needed to be neutralised to proceed further in their process. To meet this need, our fabrication team worked with our client to design and then install internal agitation lines that are secured to the tank floor. These lines are integral to the neutralisation process, as they will be pumped with CO2 gas to lower the water’s pH level. This innovative approach ensures the efficient neutralisation of the water before it moves on to the next stages.
Once the water is neutralised, the overflow from the neutralisation tank discharges into a coagulation tank, followed by a flocculation tank, and finally into a clarifier. Each stage is crucial for preparing the water for its final application, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.
This project highlights the expertise of our fabrication team and our dedication to working closely with our clients to understand and meet their specific needs. By integrating custom features like the agitation lines, we provide solutions that go beyond the conventional, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
