Safety Meets Ingenuity…
At West Coast Poly, innovation and excellence are at the core of everything we do, these three 14,000L chemical tanks are no exception. Custom-made with High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), they will be making their way to a prominent lithium mine in the Pilbara region. These tanks are engineered to store bulk undiluted coagulant for lithium mining, with a maximum specific gravity (sg) of 1.1. There are some key aspects in the design of these tanks that we made to best suit the needs of our client.
Built to brave the elements of the Pilbara region, an area known for its extreme weather conditions. Our chemical tanks are up for the challenge, because they are constructed using HDPE, a material known for its exceptional durability and resistance to harsh environments. They have also gone through our rigorous testing procedures so whether it’s rain or shine, these tanks will deliver reliable performance, ensuring the coagulant remains in prime condition for efficient lithium mining operations.
The safety of your team is of utmost importance, and that’s why we design our chemical tanks with solutions that protect the user. In this case the infill line is equipped with a T-piece, which enables the client to drain any residual chemical left in the infill line after filling the tank, ensuring minimal contact with the chemical. There is also a drain dropstop feature, after draining the fill line, this reduces the risk of splashing on people, creating a safer and more user-friendly environment.
