To ensure it plays its roll effectively we tailored the tank and pump design to meet our clients site requirements. One of the key challenges of this was ensuring that the tank’s pump system met the mine sites specific water flow requirements. So the Davey HM160-19T, 240V Pressure pump, known for its reliability and performance was installed with an added Davey 24018P Pressure Tank. This pump system ensures that the safety showers have an ample supply of water at the required pressure.
Additionally, the system is designed to eliminate harmful bacteria, via the water being pumped through a UV treatment system. This germicidal ultra violet is a non chemical, non heat application which kills micro-organisms including bacteria, viruses, moulds, yeasts and protozoa in water.
To ensure the durability and security of the tanks on-site, we placed them in heavy-duty galvanized steel frames. These frames, fabricated by our in-house steel fabrication team, are equipped with tie-down turn buckles and chains to securely mount the tank. The frames also feature a 2-pac paintwork finish and front and side lifting fork pockets, making them easy to transport and move around the site as needed.
