This tank here is a 1,200L HDPE chemical tank with a thermal insulation coating, storing sodium hypochlorite, the tank will play small part of a larger complex project.

We used spray-applied 50mm polyurethane foam insulation with an elastomer protective coating, creating a durable, airtight seal. This insulation provided consistent internal temperatures by minimising thermal bridging.
The tank was built as a fully-contained bunded solution, providing an added layer of safety by preventing spills or leaks. This feature was critical for ensuring the safe handling and storage of sodium hypochlorite.
