When a project calls for reliable water storage, the focus is simple; capacity, durability, and seamless integration on-site…
We recently worked with an industrial client requiring a dependable storage solution as part of a broader system design. The brief was clear: three tanks, each with an effective working capacity of 25,000 litres, configured to operate efficiently together while handling the demands of a working site.
Each tank was fitted out to support both functionality and ease of use in the field. A DN100 inlet and DN80 outlet with anti-vortex inhibitor ensure smooth and controlled flow, while the DN150 overflow provides protection during peak inflow conditions.
To enable the system to operate as a unified setup, DN100 interconnections were incorporated between tanks. This allows for balanced water levels across all three units, improving overall efficiency and simplifying system management on-site.
From a practical standpoint, access and safety were also considered. Each tank includes an inspection hatch and a mounted aluminium ladder, ensuring safe and easy access for inspection and maintenance.
As with all industrial builds, durability is non-negotiable. All flanged connections are fitted with galvanised backing rings, and the tanks are manufactured from heavy-duty polyethylene to withstand harsh operating conditions while maintaining long service life.
The end result is a straightforward, efficient storage system, designed to integrate easily, operate reliably, and minimise ongoing maintenance on site.
