Custom Tanks Aren’t A Tall Order…
When it comes to the mining and industrial sector we understand that no two operations are the same. So when a client approached us needing replacement tanks for their pipe cleaning unit, they had a precise vision of what they wanted and were worried, it might be too taller an order. Not for us! Although it was clear this wouldn’t be a standard job, our client required tanks that were approximately 4,500L in capacity, wider than tall for easy access to the top without needing a ladder and equipped with screw tops for regular cleaning.
To create the perfect solution, we began with our 9,000L tank mould. From there, our fabrication team went to work, carefully cutting and re-engineering the tank to achieve the squat design the client required. The roof was skillfully poly-welded back into place, ensuring a seamless finish and robust structural integrity.
Its unique, squat design is as functional as it is distinctive, allowing easy top access for maintenance while meeting the specific connection needs of the client’s pipe cleaning unit.
Of course, no project leaves our workshop without rigorous quality assurance. Each tank underwent extensive QA testing to ensure it was ready to handle the demanding job of storing water contaminated with oil and grease from pipe cleaning operations.
