However the tanks had to both be portable and adaptable to the various locations around the mine site.
To make the tanks more adaptable to various locations around the mine site, our fabrication team fixed two tanks on top of each other. This maximise the storage space while minimising the tanks physical footprint.
To ensure environmental safety and compliance, the raw storage tanks were constructed with a closed bunding, to prevent any contamination from accidental leaks or spills. The tanks were securely positioned within a heavy-duty steel frame with a 2pac paint finish, tank locator brackets and lifting points. Making the tanks portable for our client, by allowing easy relocation around the mine site or to different sites.
Environmental concerns were addressed with the inclusion of a DN150 odour limiting atmospheric vent, which helped control odours and emissions. To monitor tank conditions, both high-level and bund alarms were incorporated. These alarms provided real-time alerts in case of any abnormalities, helping prevent potential hazards.
